The course.
Finale event of the Tri-ActiV8 "off the beaten track" Trail Run Series, in the Mia Mia State Forest west of Mackay. Three distances — 6km The Gong Return, 14km The Go-Long Gong, and the 24km To the Creek and Back which is Mackay's only UTMB Index Race — over fire road, singletrack and creek crossings.
